I'm Paul Lopez, one of the developers for KitchenSync. I've been in web development since
2018; I specialize in creating the efficient, high-quality back-end code that powers our
platform’s simplicity and user experience. Inspired by the need for better meal planning
tools, I envisioned a tool that not only enhances meal planning but also fosters a community
for discovering new recipes and connecting with others; now, I've set out to make that tool
a reality.
My passions for music and baking influence my approach to development, lending both a creative
and structured approach to building intuitive and engaging user experiences. Looking ahead, I
aim to develop a vibrant community around KitchenSync that can benefit from the work we do here.

I am Colton Deaton, one of the developers behind KitchenSync. My journey in programming
began in desktop app development, but it wasn't until Paul dragged me kicking and screaming
into web design & development that I truly found my passion.
KitchenSync is a personal solution to my own frustrations with disorganized grocery lists and
wasted food, and I'm driven to make it accessible and enjoyable for everyone. When I’m not coding
or designing, you’ll find me gaming, exploring photography, or spending time with my family.
My goal is to turn KitchenSync into a tool that truly adds value to everyday life.
